Platinum One was well represented at last night’s 45th Annual PFA Awards, with three clients being selected in the PFA Teams of the Year.
Luton Town’s Alan Sheehan (pictured above) and Coventry City’s Jack Grimmer were chosen by their peers in the League Two Team of the Season, whilst it was two from two for Walsall’s Turkish Messi, Erhun Oztumer, who was selected for the second year running.
For Alan, it capped off a good weekend, having helped his Luton Town side to promotion to League One on Saturday. Sheehan has enjoyed a fine campaign, playing 39 games and scoring three goals from the back.
Jack has also had a memorable season with Coventry City. Having stolen the headlines back at the start of 2018, when he scored the winning goal in the FA Cup Third Round to knock Premier League side Stoke City out of the competition, his league performances have been consistently strong, playing 42 games and winning Player of the Month in September.
Erhun has been the shining light at the Bescot Stadium again this season, bagging 16 goals for the Saddlers this season as well as scoring his first career hat-trick in the 3-0 win at Southend last month.
